Apprentices: The company is licensed by the State of California Division of Apprenticeship Standards to train Fire/Life Safety Apprentices. Training is provided for apprentices who express an interest in our team efforts. The training is conducted on the job by our senior technicians in addition to Apprenticeship Classes and various manufacturer training classes.
Technicians service various Fire/Security Alarm Systems throughout the extreme Southern California area. They conduct routine preventative maintenance inspections, program/troubleshoot/repair systems and interface with our clients. Technicians must have the capability to program processor based systems and have knowledge of various test instruments.
Installers pull wire and install devices on new construction projects as well as installing new systems in retrofit projects. They must have their own hand tools and have the ability to work with other JJJ employees as well as other trades on construction projects.
AutoCAD Designers provide layout designs of System Devices and Wiring on various building floor plans. Designs include System Configuration and Calculations for Voltage Drop and Battery Capacities. Coordination with architects, engineers, other consultants and contractors is required.
Sales persons generate their own leads through the use of construction reports and contacts they may have with builders, developers, property managers, etc. They must have a basic knowledge of systems and the ability to estimate, make proposals and close sales.

A competitive pay scale is offered with, six paid holidays per year, one week vacation after the first year and two weeks thereafter. A group medical plan was put into effect during 1999.
